Hungarian Content Localization Specialist - Alza, Prague

I was headhunted for this role and I was the only one back then. There were not so many Hungarians in PRague who had e-commerce experience. Well I didn't know but Alza started it's expansion to the Hungarian market. As I was the only one for some times, the amount of job could be described as, endless.

Registering to marketplaces, setting up Search campaigns for PPC, various types of website content from navigation to product categories and products and also assisting the hiring of the new colleagues for Customer Care, Content Team, local premises were all the part of my responsiobilities.

I remember my director asked me when he left for 2 weeks of holidays to do him a favour and not to quit while he is away. Well, I didn't, because my team leader was probably the best leader I have ever worked with. Not a boss but a leader.

Alza developed all its tools. Email marketing, content management, even the login tool for the work hours were developed by the company. Well, they used to be the biggest webmall in Central Eastern Europe and I was really delighted to be invited to work in this challanging environment.

There were projects, where time management didn't help.
There were priorities, which were overwritten by other higher priorities within the same day.

There were nobody treatening me with loosing bonus or any hardship if I don't achieve some milestone, but everyone was happy that I did my best. Over time and with lot's of extra work I learn't a lot about e-commerce.
