Description: Developed various AutoHotkey scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance productivity in digital marketing operations.
I asked my favourite AI tool to create a script with Python to monitor the online news magazin's articles and save the articles' names and urls and save the results to a .txt file.
The script repeats this action every 25 minutes so at the end of the day I will have a detailed overview on the top news' categories. This file will serve as a base for generating ideas, because .txt files are really easy to parse through, and the files' size can be measured in a few kilobytes.
Please note that this is not the most important step in the content creation is you know your genre and the industry, but sometimes content ideas from the public could serve with good ideas to develop new content.
If you want to avoid using a script to fetch online media topics, you can check Google Trends. Google trends shows you different topics than a dedicated news portal but it is there for free and ready to be used.
You know, to be able to see the bigger picture.
Soon I will share here the python script with detailed step by step guide how to use it. Previously I used AHK to automate crutial tasks which are repetative by nature.
I started to use python an sometimes I find these scripts are easier to develop and working better with other online magazines.
The most imprortant that an AI tool can easier create such automation script using python than with AHK.
So now there are general ideas in our pool coming along from either our news portal or from Google Trends.
If we want to find relevant keywords, we can use our inhouse professionals, keyword tools, and Google's Autosuggest.
Open Google and enter to the search bar a
Google Autosuggest will prompt a window with the search results, which internet users frequently using.
Collect the presented keywords and expressions and repreat this action with the other letters from the ABC.
You can also add all the questions words and numbers from 0 to 10 and collect those keyword ideas as well. Use the question words and numbers according to your target language's grammar rules!
Write the keywords results onto an excel sheet and categorize them; products, categories, advices, dimensions, measures, services or anything else based on the results. I am sure you can also ask your trusted AI tool to do this for you.
However, I would not recommend it. This is the first time when you can get familier with the results. Work for your money and categorize the resulted keywords by yourself.
Google Trends will show keywords' and expressions' search intent performance, aka how the searches are being conducted online.
If you write any content about a topic and want to follow up on any trend in relation to a general action that had happened to your country or effected a certain market, industry OR you are looking for confirmation or contradiction for a trend for a specific product, service or company being searched by the internet users then you will find all the initial support from Google Trends.
You can take the visualisation or download the data and create your own visualisations that you can use in your content.
Not every country publishes data about its people, market, products and aspects of life but if the targeted country has such data find it, analyse it and use it.
If the national statistical entity can provide you with data in your niche topic, then you can prepare some really updated content back with real and confirmed data.
Out of teh statistical entities, you can build your own database using data from customers, visitors or from your sales team. Ask your online visitors a few question if you offer them a 10% discount code if they sign up for your newsletter. Don't give away discounts for free. Or send out a survery and ask for their feedbacks.
Looker Studio is a free reporting tool, which can assist you creating great visualisations from an Excel dataset or from data connectors. If you don't want to use it, then just use Excel or Google Sheets.
Now that you supposedly have:
You are lucky because you have copywriter, professional content creater, translator and content localizer and you just ask this person or persons to bring you the content.
If this is not the case, then write to the AI tool what exactly you want from it.
Write the length and if it is not long enough ask it to extend the content with more details.
What style, characteristics it shall use to conduct the content creation.
Share the keywords and provide the AI tool with the criteria list, according to which it shall create the content frame: Focus on best tips and tricks, benefits, usability features etc.
Then let it work. Check the results and steer the process by providing new updates. Start from small and continue to the large content. First create an enumerated list with the content ideas and ask the AI tool to first create the first part then continue with the second part in a separate chapter.
Ask the AI tool to create content in other targeted languages if you work with more markets in other countries.
DOn't trust the results blindly. It happened to me that my SME found the resulted topic total accurate and relevant and in a reader friendly format. But it also happened to me that the content needed more care than in the previous time.
I believe if you know how to wish and what the result will be better. This means that if you are somewhat a subject matter expert yourself, your job will be easier and the result will be of higher quality. Also you will save lot's of extra time from the content creation process.
Use your own content.
Update the outdated content in the content, communicate the changes and make it visible in the dates and in the schema markups. Don't be afraid to shut off those content pieces which doesn't deliver much benefit for the readers. But working on your own content shall be your first priority.
Use your competition's content ideas.
Monitor the competition, mostly focus on the best competition and recreate these content ideas. Find out the content structure, use Screaming Frog to see the content's structure and use information to create better content.
Align with your sales team.
They can support you with valuable insigths. Customer related stories could provide useful insights for your customers and online visitors.
